Dr. Devin Croft is a native of Glendale, Arizona. He attended the University of Arizona for undergraduate studies where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology.
Dr. Croft attended dental school at the University of Minnesota and graduated in 2004 as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. While in dental school, he was active in the dental fraternities and student government. He was elected as his Class Vice President for the 3rd and 4th years while also acting as the student council secretary. In addition, he worked in a research laboratory looking into pain analgesics for inflammatory and bone cancer pain that was eventually published in 2003 in the scientific journal, Pain, and also orally presented his findings at the IADR/AADR dental research meeting. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Croft practiced as a general dentist in Eden Prairie, Minnesota for 2 years for a large group practice.
Realizing that he wanted to further his education, he applied and was selected to attend the prestigious Temple University Orthodontic Residency Program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for 27 months where he received a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Masters of Science in Oral Biology. During his residency, his Master’s thesis research focused on the application of 3D imaging on orthodontic treatment effects.
Dr. Croft has expanded his orthodontic practice in Peoria, Arizona to include treatment of Temporomandibular Disorder (TMD) and Sleep Disorder Breathing related to Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Snoring, and excessive daytime tiredness. He is a Diplomate of the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorder Disciplines. He is also an active member of many orthodontic, dental, and sleep societies including the American Association of Orthodontists, The Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, The American Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association, the Academy of Clinical Sleep Disorder Disciplines, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain.
He enjoys working with patients of all ages to improve their smiles helping to ultimately build their self-esteem and helping people overcome the consequences related to Sleep Disorder Breathing and Obstructive Sleep Apnea thus improving his patient’s overall health and quality of life. In his spare time, Dr. Croft enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, reading, and watching his favorite teams including the Phoenix Coyotes, UofA Basketball, and the Phoenix Suns.
