Vistancia Orthodontics ("we," "us" or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, vistanciaortho.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this website, you agree to this policy.
This policy covers our website. Your dental and medical records, and the health information we keep as your provider, are protected by federal law (HIPAA) and covered by our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Information you give us
We collect information you choose to send us, such as when you:
- Fill out our contact or consultation form. We ask for your name, phone number, email address, who the appointment is for, what you're interested in, and an optional message.
- Upload files on our Upload Files page. Uploads go through ShareFile, a secure file-sharing service, directly to our office.
- Use our patient billing portal. The portal is run by our billing software provider, and the information you enter there is handled under their security and privacy practices along with ours.
- Call, email or text us.
Please don't put health details in the contact form. It's meant for getting in touch. We'll cover anything medical privately by phone or in the office. To send forms, X-rays or records, use our secure Upload Files page instead.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours automatically receives some basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. Our website host uses this information to deliver pages quickly, keep the site secure and block spam and attacks.

Our website uses a secure, encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we use reasonable safeguards to protect the information you send us. No website or internet transmission is ever 100% secure, though, so please use our secure upload page or call us for anything sensitive.
How long we keep information
We keep information from the website only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires. Patient records are kept according to Arizona law and our Notice of Privacy Practices.
Children's privacy
Many of our patients are kids, but this website is meant for parents and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Parents or guardians should fill out forms and contact us on a child's behalf. If you believe a child has sent us information, call us and we'll delete it.
Your choices
