Combination Therapy

Sleep better and straighten your smile at the same time

Most people assume they have to choose: treat their sleep apnea or straighten their teeth. With Dr. Croft, you don't have to pick one.

Two treatments, one plan

Because Dr. Croft treats both orthodontics and sleep apnea, he can design a plan that lets you wear a sleep appliance at night while your Invisalign aligners straighten your teeth.

How it works

  • Wear your aligners about 20 hours a day. That's what keeps your teeth moving on schedule, just like any Invisalign patient.
  • At night, the sleep appliance goes right over your aligners. No swapping back and forth. Your aligners keep working while the appliance keeps your airway open.
  • It's built to let your teeth move. The lab makes the appliance with the back teeth blocked out and no acrylic over the front teeth, so it doesn't get in the way of your tooth movement.
  • When Invisalign is done, it becomes your retainer. The lab relines the appliance so it fits snugly around all your teeth. From then on, it treats your sleep apnea and holds your new smile in place every night.

Who it's for

  • Adults with diagnosed sleep apnea who also want straighter teeth
  • Invisalign patients who snore or wake up tired
  • CPAP users looking for an alternative who have crowding or bite issues

Why it matters

Treating sleep apnea protects your health. Straightening your teeth protects your smile and your bite. Doing both under one doctor means one coordinated plan, fewer separate appointments, and no guessing about whether one treatment will interfere with the other.
